Identity design for the National Nutrition Month event at the University of Minnesota, through University Dining Services. The logo was used on pens, t-shirts, and water bottles for the weeklong event. 

The theme for 2011, "Eat Right with Color," emphasized bright colored fruits and vegetables in a healthy diet. In-season clementines were given away at the event as well.

 The market for sugar cubes is dominated by one major player in Midwestern grocery stores, C&#38;H Sugar. Sugar3 is meant to provide a modern update to the classic brand. Its bright magenta and orange colors help it stand out against the more reserved pink and blue of C&#38;H. The warm hues also are meant to stimulate hunger.

Sugar3's brand identity seeks to place sugar once again as an option in the health-conscious consumer's mind. The brand slogan, "true sweetness" conveys that sugar, unlike artificial sweeteners, is a natural and healthy option.

Mother's Cookies is a rebranding effort that seeks to reach a new target audience, single urban women. Mother's Cookies is known mostly for their production of frosted "circus animal" cookies, and typically targets families and relies on the tradition and history of the brand.

For the rebranding, Mother's Cookies standard palette of bright red and purple was adjusted to have a magenta twist, to better appeal to hip women.

Once rebranding was deployed in stores, the "Sweet Ride Sweepstakes" would begin. Every package of cookies bought would generate an entry into the contest, to win a blinged-up Mother's Cookies branded Volkswagen Bug.

The new marketing approach seeks to rebrand the urban environment where the women live. There would be a tie-in promotion with milk sold in urban grocery and convenience stores, as well as branded shopping bags.

Additionally, Mother's Cookies premium gift baskets would be given to landlords and property management at upscale apartments and condos in the downtown area, to be distributed to new tenants. The intent is for the new tenants to associate Mother's Cookies brand with their new, urban lives.

High Beam is a packaging redesign for a reflective runner's vest. The headlights on the front of the packaging play into the fear many runners have of being hit by a car, and offer the product as a solution to that fear. The sleek motion lines play into the speed runners crave, and the vest itself is the star in a clear cylinder that resembles a flashing safety light.
